Idea Napkin No. 2
Who: I am James Bellman also known by my stage name Jaimo. I am a hip hop artist and entrepreneur with the idea of bringing light to some of UFs most talented artists.
What are you offering to customers: I am offering the idea of an artist at UF being championed just like the football players are. We should support the bright minds at our own school and help the talented reach their full potential!
Who are we offering to? This can be done for all the UF student body and anyone with positive associations to the school. Its for individuals in Gainesville as well as people from all parts of Florida. To have the school put a student on its shoulders and show how proud they are of the individuals they have would mean a lot.
Why do they care? Because it benefits the university and anyone who enjoys music. Its also something that can stand as a symbol of hope to other students and it shows that they can make a difference if they work hard enough.
Competencies: My work ethic and dedication to what I want sets me apart. Also me literally just being me sets me apart I'm a unique individual and artists and when thats brought to the forefront hopefully people can resonate with it.
I believe these elements definitely fit together well. I have the abilities at hand to be one of the artists the university champions and I also believe in the power of something like this. This could kick off something magic throughout universities across the country. Thousands of talented kids getting the chance to perform on a platform they wouldn't normally have access to.
The feedback I received gave me fuel in the opportunity I see. it really shows me that this is a possibility and it can be done with hard work and dedication.

Hey James, it was great to read about you and I think you wrote and really solid post. Other factors you could think about would be talent competitions or something for viewers to see and be entertained. I think all of your elements will fit together in time, and I think a lot of people will be interested in this idea. I am a big sports guy, but I also love to listen to music and other forms of art. Great post and keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteJames! Again! I totally agree with this idea, and I think that your boldness in wanting to be the artist who is champion is commendable. One thing I noticed, when you said hopefully they will resonate with me as an artist, I think when you say hopefully, it takes away from The confidence you have in filling the need. At least, that is how I perceived it when I read it. Over all, great post! You seem like the man for the job.
