1. The thing that surprised me most about Elon Musk is his unique beginnings yet his insane work ethic.

Elon hard work and dedication is what allowed him to power past the obstacles that he faced. He continued to build his brands and break through in industries that were not as popular before he got around to them.

What a book. Elon has such an inspirational story. How can anyone read this and not be inspired? He is living proof that with hard work and determination anything is possible. It sure is amazing how much he has accomplished. The huge roll not only scientists but also marketing played in the success of Tesla show what it takes to make a successful product. Elon Musk will continue to change the world for many years to come.
ReplyDeleteHey James, I do like how you shortened some of the material up and I think you had some great examples about Elon Musk. He seemed to be an incredibly hard worker and facing adversity with developing the Tesla could not be easy. To have been able to keep his composer and keep working towards his goal is inspiring itself. I believe that he can be a role model for all of us, his work ethic is not easy but that is why he is great.
ReplyDeleteHey James! I also read a bio of Elon Musk for this assignment. Personally, I found Musk to be a rather bewildering fellow. One thing that stood out to me rather sorely is that the author's portrayal of Musk gave me the impression that he is low on social skills. I got the impression that Musk is a genius when it comes to engineering and the mechanical sciences, and has a weakness in the social sciences. I remember thinking that this in itself would present a great opportunity for me. Because Musk has a weakness in social skills (which I am strong in) our weaknesses and strengths would greatly compliment each other and we could have a productive partnership. Anyway, reading Musk's bio has really clarified my path as a businessman. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I feel much more confident in my future since reading the book!
ReplyDeleteHey what’s up James, I actually almost read Elon’s bio, but instead, I chose to read about the founder of Nike, Phil night. What I noticed, is that both of these individuals have a lot in common. The most obvious thing, is definitely hard work! All throughout Phil’s bio He had to push through a lot of tough times, but he never gave up. Seems like it was probably similar for Elon.
